Ladies & Gentleman, we’re so excited to bring you another wedding film; not just any, it’s our first-ever Russian film and oh my was it fun being apart of! Yulia & Sasa, thank you for being simply amazing. Fortunately, during this COVID-19 pandemic, we had the time to come out with a new concept. From now on we’re going to carry on a tradition of sharing wedding speeches and highlights on our posts and we hope you like it.

We came to realize with this wonderful wedding that there are loads of heartfelt moments, sharing them with you is something we can’t resist. It brings us joy to bring you closer with our lens to witness these moments here.

Our team of Ammar and Carlos rocked up to their first Russian wedding, they were greeted very warmly by the parents of the couple “it felt like we knew Yulia’s and Sasa’s family”. The first thing that struck our eye was the gown by Brides of Sydney. A beautiful white dress hanging in there surrounded by Sydney Wedding Flowers. Yulia was getting the magic touches by kym Louise Creative while our maid of honor was getting her hair done by Mobile Wedding Hair Sydney.

We were there with the photographer Mark Jay getting all the beautiful candid shots while the little fluffy cute dog was trying to have his bit of fun too. Sadly we heard this Wednesday he wasn’t well and passed away. Yulia told us that he was part of the family and this news really touched our hearts. The team is glad that we captured and included these precious moments of him seeing Yulia getting ready in the wedding highlight.

Moving from the prep to the ceremony at The William Inglis Hotel (a beautiful place), Astra Limousines were there to provide the couple with their luxurious transport service. Ammar was shooting B-rolls of the String Trio Jasmine Strings, Carlos working out the audio for the vows with the celebrant Paul Wheeler. We decided to start the edit with the vows, just like the speeches we had to share with you above, they were something special and truly heartfelt.

After the beautiful vows and all the exciting energy, the crowd headed outside for some champagne popping action. The Cake by Mastello Creations was there waiting for Daniel Merza the MC for the night to introduce, for the first time as husband and wife, Yulia and Sasa! The night just like the rest of the day was exciting, only got to the next level because of One Round Entertainment, the DJ for the night.

Ladies and gentlemen, we’re very excited to announce we’re back in 2020 with more films already! I would love to present a couple of the wedding videos we shot earlier this year. This first of which we shot this century and like to share with you is the film of Ninorta & Ramsen.

Ninorta was rocking her beautiful gown by (Rodeo Drive Boutique) and Ramsen suited up and looking sharp by (Joe Black). As our wedding videography team arrived at the bride’s house and started shooting; the makeup team by (Fatin Kay Makeup Artist) was already working alongside (Jocelyne Chidiac Hair). As we were enjoying the beautiful music in the background and shooting the (Michael Hill) rings alongside the talented (Sitto Studios) the flowers by (Princess Flowers) arrived and it was lookin and smellin fresh!

We captured as many details for you while we were there until the cars by (Adore Bike Escorts) arrived to pick up our excited couples. The ceremony was held at (St. Zaia Cathedral, Ancient Church of the East) filled with both exciting tears and close family and friends of Ramsen & Ninorta. Our video team split into two, one group followed the couples down the aisle and to a location shoot (Our favorite part in the video) while I and the other video group headed to the venue (Lantana Royale) to set up for the BIG night.

We weren’t the only people at the venue getting ready, the band (Bassam Slivo and Band) was already set up and rehearsing, MC (James Tomas) planning and organizing with everybody the schedule. By that time family and friends started walking in and greeting, we were live! MC James was on the mic, eyes at the venue gate as everyone was waiting for the big moment; the entrance of our beautiful couple.

The atmos was unbelievable, it’s truly an amazing experience to be apart of a big Assyrian wedding, once those gates opened and the entrainment crew by (Assyrian Star Dance Group) rocked in with a beautiful traditional Assyrian dance; the firework was raining down as the wedding couples walked in and the crowd cheered everywhere, it’s hard to describe it in words but the team here at Deja Vu Films would film a thousand time a wedding like this without a hesitation, it was awesome!

We danced the night away with our cameras by beats from (Deejay NS). We wish the beautiful couple a life full of joy, prosperity and may God bless them. We also hope for you to enjoy watching the wedding video and get in touch with us if you have another amazing wedding for us to be a part of.

Another weekend to hit the road and film a wedding, but not just any wedding! John was a good friend of our cinematographer Ammar, Janelle was a gorgeous bride with a vivid Lebanese smile and beautiful Assyrian personality.

We very much enjoyed the colorful cultural dance, singing, and sneaky tasty foody grabs (of course while filming) HA! it was time to head to ceremony at that stage where it was held at St. Zaia’s Assyrian cathedral, it was a special ceremony and you’ll see bits of it on the highlight video. Our cinematographer Ammar and photographer Kegan Haydo took the love birds to for a location shoot afterwords.

The location was held at Sydney University (in case you’re thinking of that location for your wedding), a beautiful place to film as you can see! The venue is none other than Paradiso which we do very much like filming at, sweet location for filming but more importantly lovely staff and service as you would expect from Paradiso again and again.

There was more Arabic and Assyrian singing and dancing as you would expect, loads of entertainment, a full-hearted wedding indeed.

Now our couple and their relatives overseas can’t wait to check out the full edit and we’re sure you do too, we will leave you all with the highlight wedding video, for now, enjoy.

On a gorgeous sunny Saturday morning, our film crew took a trip to Double Bay for a shoot. It was on this day we all celebrated the beautiful wedding of Elly and Jarod, beneath the blue skies and beside the sea waves, there was their place, full of balloons and gift wraps everywhere.

We enjoyed the view and filmed as we went until it was time to get in the vintage Rolls Royce and head to St Mary’s Cathedral, only a handful of couples would be lucky to have their special ceremony held there and we were super excited to video every bit of it from each and every corner and angle.

It was time to move to our next location, the venue, by the sea again! Where the rest of Elly and Jarod’s friends and family were waiting to greet them. We rolled our cameras and didn’t stop, nothing stopped, everybody sang and danced till the morning, it was truly a special and fun day.

Now our couple is back from their honeymoon escape, we will leave you all with the highlight wedding video, happy viewing.

So it’s Christmas, therefore we thought we gonna put up this wedding video a little earlier than planed. This upload is for not only the couple to enjoy watching but everyone else who was part of the day to experience it again, that’s including the film crew, the photographers and everyone else.

Furthermore, we had a blast of fun filming this big wedding, the energy was great and also the Assyrian dance did not disappoint. A pack of fun and emotional experience that made us fall in love with the bride and groom

The team has lived next door to Julian and attended school with Natalie, it was wonderful to see the two halves join. Our first sight after we rocked up to the groom and bridal preparation was familiar faces dressed in traditional Assyrian clothing. The second thing to notice is the elegant decoration by Vivien followed by the stunning gown by Suzanna Blazevic (O.M.G)! The groom through on a slick piece by none other than Alex Goodman.

After we done shooting the details with the photographer Kegan, we went to meet the couple which at the time were in preparation, On the makeup was Tara Khamo and the bride’s hair was getting its final touches by Just Girls. On the sudden sounds of drums being played outside, the Assyrian dancers quickly formed a Khga and started dancing. More dancing and more filming until the cars by WOW Limousines and Silver Cloud arrived to take us to St Hurmizd Cathedral for the ceremony.

The Evening

With ancient tongue prayers and the final words of “you may kiss the bride,” we headed on our way to the continue the celebration at the Lantana Venue. Mc, Shamasha James Toma on the mic ready to kick off the party and welcomes the bridal party to the dance floor, the smoke rises and fire sparks, gates open and the groom and bride arrive! James passes the mic to Sonia Odisho and Sonia hands it to Albert Younan until the morning.

Truly an amazing time and wonderful work by everyone, we wish the happy couple a joyful honeymoon in Barcelona and around the world :).

On the morning of the 1st of September, the crew arrived at Hayat and Kareim places, both places looked down at the beautiful landscape of Sydney. The bride house was beautifully decorated on the outside with the flowers, the work of Tender Thoughts Florist. Inside were the bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup by Nawal Ador and Tanya Nicolas.

In the next room was the gorgeous gown, the work of Brides of Sydney. Busy taking photos of the gown were the nice photographers from Splendid Wedding Photography. The Lebanese music in the background got us warmed up, we locked our cameras, load the cards and started shooting until the cars by Roll Up In Rolls rocked up to take us to church. 

The ceremony held at St Joseph’s church 2:00 PM, brother walking down his sister down the aisle was “incredible” Kareim said. Happy tears and Ululation, joy and claps we head down to the Grand Royal venue to continue along with the sounds of drums of Arabian collaboration. Bustling downtown Sydney during the wedding season set a striking backdrop to tell Dina and Chris’s love story. On a crisp October day at the Mary Immaculate Church, they became Mr. & Mrs. Hernandez.
